CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Mount St. Joseph men's lacrosse team hosted a conference opponent the Pioneers of Transylvania University in their second matchup of the season. The Lions were unable to split the games and fell to the Pioneers 30-1.
The first quarter went to the Pioneers as they were able to go up 13 goals before before the quarter finished. The Lions were able to make their only goal of the game in the second quarter when Collin Matt (Jamestown,Ohio/Greenview) would go in unassisted and get one passed the goalie. The Mount would go scoreless for the rest of the game and Transylvania would grow their lead by 17 points throughout the remaining quarters. The Lions would drop another conference game with the final score of 30-1.
The Lions will be back in action on Wednesday, April 10th at 7PM as they take on the Panthers of Hanover College in another conference matchup. Continue to check MSJSports.com for more updates.
