The Mount Men’s Lacrosse Team Picked to Finish 3rd in HCLC

The Mount St. Joseph University men's lacrosse team has been predicted to finish 3rd in the Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference by coaches in a pre-season poll.  Last season the Lions finished the season with a record of 2-13 and a conference record of 2-8 record. The Lions have just joined the Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference this season after being a part of the Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) for the past few seasons.  

The Mount has five HCLC Players to watch and they are senior Tony Behler (Cincinnati, OH/ Elder) and juniors Seth Poirier (Somerville, OH/ Talawanda) and Dakota Lambing (West Chester, OH/ Lakota East) as well as sophomore Kevin McClanahan (Madeira, OH/ Madeira) and freshman Chucky Lipps (Cincinnati, OH/ Elder).  The Lions welcome five freshman to the team as they hope to make their mark in their new conference. The men's lacrosse team is ready for their first game on the road at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA on 2/16. Continue to check MSJSports.com for more updates on the Lions season!
