Boo Jackson
Title: Quarterbacks Coach

Boo Jackson enters his second season on the Lions' coaching staff and will once again be assisting the Quarterbacks. 

In Coach Corrill's first season calling plays, Coach Jackson played an integral role in the development of Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference 2016 Newcomer of the year, QB Chaiten Tomlin, from his Freshman year to his Sophomore year. Jackson, helped Tomlin shattered school records for Passing Yards in a season (3,053), Passing Completions (194), and Passing Touchdowns (40) on his way to being named Second-Team All-HCAC Quarterback. Tomlin also broke a school record and tied an NCAA Division III record with 9 Touchdown passes in a sigle game (vs. Anderson). Jackson came to the Mount from North Torrance High School in Torrance, CA. In each of his three seasons there, Jackson saw an increasing in coaching responsibilities with success each year. Jackson was the Freshman OC when leading them to a league title. He continued his success as the JV Head Football Coach / Varsity QB Coach, leading the JV to a league title and coaching a record setting QB who broke school records in single season Passing Yards and Touchdowns. In his final season at North Torrance, they won the CIF Championship.

A former collegiate Quarterback, Jackson started his career at El Camino College where he had much success in his two seasons that translated into a full-ride scholarship to Ohio University. In Athens, Jackson was the starting Quartback for the Bobcats for three seasons. He broke numerous school records including Career Passing Yards, Career Passing Touchdowns, single Season Passing Yards, single Season Passing Touchdowns, single Game Passing Yards, and single Game Passing Touchdowns. He went on to play arena and semi-pro ball before getting into the coaching profession.

Jackson is engaged to his college sweetheart, Brittany, who teaches at Little Miami Elementary.
