CINCINNATi, Ohio - The Mount St. Joseph Universtiy baseball program completed their 14th annual Volunteer Service Day.
For the 14th year in a row the baseball program has been "Decking the Halls" as the Mount St. Joseph mother house and Mother Margaret Hall. On Friday, December 7th coach Jeff Newman and his team decended upon Mother Margaret Hall with 33 players in tow.
The Lions spend the better part of an afternoon helping to get the residents of Mother Margeret Hall into the holiday spirit. They assemble and decorate more than a dozen Christmas tree's, as well as hang other decorations.
"We get alot out of the service day as a team." Said junior first baseman Roman Rothwell (Monroe, Ohio/Monroe). Rothwell went on to add, "Helping to put the Mother House in the Christmas spirit is something that has actually helped me get into the spirit the past three years."
