The Lions got a balanced hitting attack, and solid defensive play when needed on Wednesday night, as they posted a 3-0 win at Hanover College. The win improves the Mount's record to 15-16 overall, and 6-2 in the HCAC. The Lions will end regular season play on Nov. 2 when they host Earlham College on Senior Day. The victory helps the Mount sew up an HCAC Tournament appearance as a number three seed. They will host a tournament game next Tuesday, Nov. 5 at home against an opponent to be determined.

Hannah Vanarsdall (Cincinnati, OH/McAuley) had nine kills and 15 digs while teammate Nicole Sherpensky (Cincinnati, OH/Northwest) added eight kills and five blocks as the Mount won, 25-22, 25-20, 27-25. Janelle Davis (Convoy, OH/Wayne Trace) chipped in 23 assists in the win and Emma Beyer (Liberty Township, OH/Mt. Notre Dame) added 12 digs and two service aces.
