The College of Mount St. Joseph officially announces that transfer student-athlete Courtney Leitsinger (Springboro, OH/Springboro) will attend the College in the fall and play volleyball.

Leitsinger most recently played for the University of Kentucky’s Club Volleyball team. The 2012 high school graduate played prep volleyball for Head Coach Kevin Sedensky. In 2009, as a sophomore, she was her varsity team’s starting middle hitter, and made First Team All-GWOC South and Second Team All-District 15. Leitsinger was moved to the outside for her junior campaign, and was named First Team All-GWOC South, and All-District Honorable Mention. As a senior, she played outside hitter, was named All-Conference, All-District and a District Senior All-Star. Leitsinger, 5-foot-11, finished her high school career with 163 kills, 72 aces, and 117 digs.

Courtney, the daughter of Tammy and Matt Leitsinger, is planning on majoring in Special Education.
