Wednesday, November 07, 2012 Mount senior libero Jaclyn Stenger (Cincinnati, OH/Oak Hills); and junior teammates Bethani Ritter (Cincinnati, OH/McAuley) and Nicole Sherpensky (Cincinnati, OH/Northwest) have been named First Team All-HCAC. Senior defensive specialist Michelle Woods (Ft. Wright, KY/Newport Central Catholic) was chosen Honorable Mention All-HCAC. Stenger leads the Mount this season with 385 digs while Ritter is second on the team in kills (271) and first in service aces (24). Sherpensky is the Lions' team leader in kills (312) and total blocks (97). Woods is second on the Mount in digs (206) and service aces (21). Stenger was a three-time First Team All-Conference player, and also was an HCAC All-Freshman team selection; while Woods, who was also an HCAC All-Freshman team member, was a three-time Honorable Mention winner. The HCAC awards for Ritter and Sherpensky were their first such All-Conference recognition.
