Women's Track finishes seventh at Wittenberg Tiger Invitational

The College of Mount St. Joseph women’s track team earned a seventh place finish at the Wittenberg Tiger Invitational over the weekend. The Lions scored 15 points over 19 events. The meet champion was Tiffin with 196, followed by host Wittenberg at 141, and Otterbein at 111.

The Lions had a strong performance in the 3,000 meter steeplechase event with two of the top three finishers. Samantha Greco (Cincinnati, OH/Colerain) and Trinity Saner (Taylor Mill, KY/Scott) finished in times of 15:32.01 and 15:37.98, for second and third, respectively.  

Natalie Rudolf (Cincinnati, OH/Seton) garnered an eighth place finish in the long jump with a best jump of 4.16 meters.

The Lions return to the track next weekend where they will split the squad and participate in the University of Cumberlands Invitational and the All-Ohio Championships.
