Women's Track and Field Places Sixth at Friday Night Invite

The College of Mount St. Joseph women's track team traveled to Terre Haute, Indiana to compete in the Rose-Hulman Friday Night Invite this weekend. The Lions placed sixth earning seven points on the day. Caroll was named champion with 210 points. 

Rachel Blevins (Middletown, OH/Madison) earned the Lions two points with her seventh place finish in the weight throw, and two more with another seventh place finish in the shot put. Blevins top weight throw was measured at 10.20 meters, and her best throw of the shot put was 9.51 meters. Also earning points for the Lions was Cassie Howell (Cincinnati, OH/Glen Este). Howell placed sixth in the 60 meter dash with a time of 8.77 seconds. 

The Lions will return to action February 1st when they return to Terre Haute to compete in the Rose-Hulman Invitational.
