Mount women's track & field team begins season at the Otterbein University Invitational

The College of Mount St. Joseph women's track and field team was in action for the first time for the 2014 season on Saturday at the Otterbein University Invitational. The meet was won by Robert Morris (PA) University. Eleven teams in all scored points in the meet.

Rachel Blevins (Middletown, OH/Madison) paced the Lions individually, recording a 25th placing in the shotput with a throw of 31-00.00 and was 26th in the weight throw with a toss of 33-07.50. Anna Steiner (Columbus, OH/New Albany) was 38th in the 60m dash.

The Mount resumes indoor track & field competition on Jan. 24 at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Friday Night Invitational.
