Women's track & field squad earns tenth place standing at the Cedarville University All-Comers meet

The Lions traveled to Cedarville, Ohio for the Cedarville Universty All-Comers meet on Saturday. The Lions finished in 10th place, recording six points. The meet champions were host Cedarville, with 229 points, followed by Findlay University, with 123, and Wittenberg University, with 77 points.

Rachel Blevins (Middletworn, OH/Madison) had a solid day for the Lions. Blevins earned the Lions a point in the javelin throw, with a throw of 24.20 meters. She finished right outside of earning points in the shot put as well, placing 11th with a throw of 9.74 meters. Samantha Greco (Cincinnati, OH/Colerain) was the big winner on the day for the Lions. Greco earned five points in the 3000-meter steeplechase, by finishing in fourth place, with a season-best time of 14:24.70. Samantha Buschle (Cincinnati, OH/Mercy) finished in 10th place in  the 100-meter dash, finishing in a time of 14.48 seconds.

The Lions' hard work comes to a culmination next week with the HCAC Championship meet. The Lions travel to North Manchester, Indiana next week to compete against the rest of the HCAC schools.
