On Saturday the Lions traveled to Anderson, Indiana to compete in the AU Invitatonal. The Mount placed sixth (eight points) behind Hanover (171 points), Wheaton (165 points), Anderson (103 points), Manchester (67 points), and Earlham (10 points). There were 18 total events scored at the meet. 

Four Lions' athletes, Samantha Buschle (Cincinnati, OH/Mercy), Brandy Deaton (Burlington, KY/Cooper), Samantha Greco (Cincinnati, OH/Colerain), and Emily Wolhfrom (Cincinnati, OH/Oak Hills), ran the 4x200-meter relay race in a time of 1:58.49, giving them second palce at the meet, which earned the Lions all eight of their meeet points.  

The Lions will return to action next Saturday, February 9 at the DePauw University Invitational in Greencastle, Indiana.
