HCAC Women's Indoor Track & Field Preseason Poll released

The 2013 HCAC Wpmen's Indoor Track & Field Preseason Poll has been released and the Lions have been chosen for eighth place by the conference's coaches. Hanover was selected as a near-unanimous number one selection, picking up nine of the 10 first-place votes. They were followed in the poll by Rose-Hulman, Franklin, Manchester and Anderson. Defiance, Bluffton, the Mount, Earlham and Transylvania round out the second half of the 10-team poll.

Mount sophomore Brandy Deaton (Burlington, KY/Cooper), in jumps, freshman Amanda Shelby (Cincinnati, OH/Lakota West), in distance events; and sophomore Emily Wohlfrom (Cincinnati, OH/Oak Hills), in mid-distance events, were chosen as Athletes to Watch this season.
