Sunday, December 09, 2012 On Saturday, the Lions competed at the Capital University Invitational in Columbus, Ohio. There were 10 teams in the meet including the team champion Wright State, Ohio Dominican, and Otterbein. The Lions finished tenth overall with five points, while the winner Wright State recorded 258 points. Two athletes recorded points for the Lions. Sophmore Emily Wolhfrom (Cincinnati, OH/Oak Hills) earned two points for the Lions by finishing seventh in the 400 meter dash. Wolhfrom ran the 400 meters in 1:07.89. The other Lions' student-athlete to earn points was freshman Stephanie Chisholm (Cincinnati, OH/Oak Hills). Chisolm finished sixth in the shot put event. She earned three points by throwing the shot put 10.50 meters, which is a new school record. The will return to the action on January 19 at the Otterbein University Invitational in Westerville, Ohio. |
