Mount women's soccer team chosen sixth in HCAC Coaches' Preseason Poll

The Mount St. Joseph University Lions have been chosen for sixth place this season in the HCAC Coaches’ Women's Soccer Preseason Poll.

Hanover College has been selected to pace the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference race in women’s soccer this season. The Panthers received 98 total points in a poll of the conference’s ten head coaches, grabbing nine first place votes. Hanover won last season's HCAC regular season and Tournament championships. Transylvania University finished behind the Panthers in the poll with 88 points.

Manchester University placed third in the poll with 82 total points and the final first place vote, while Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology finished fourth with 65 points. Franklin College received 48 points and finished fifth, while the Mount (45 points), Defiance College (42), Earlham College (33), Bluffton University (30), and Anderson University (19) rounded out the poll.
