Megan Grubb, a 5-foot-4, striker from Norwood High School will attend the Mount in the fall and play soccer for the Lions next season, Head Coach Josh Hess announced.

Grubb, a 2014 high school graduate, earned First Team SBAAC honors in both her junior and senior seasons. She was also a Cincinnati Enquirer Division III Honorable Mention honoree and was selected to play in the OHSAA All-Star game as a senior.

“Megan possesses great speed and athleticism,’’ Hess said. “We believe that Megan is going to really add to our ability to score goals and create problems for opposing team’s defenders. She’s multi-talented and most importantly, she is a very competitive player who expects a lot out of herself.”

It has been a long process with Megan and we are very happy that it worked out for her to attend the Mount. She will be a tremendous addition to our program.”

Megan is the daughter of Cathy and James Grubb. She is undecided on her major.
