Lions' women's soccer players win All-HCAC honors

College of Mount St. Joseph soccer players Madison Freeman (Wilder, KY/Newport Central Catholic), a junior goalkeeper, and teammate Mackenzie Money (Mason, OH/Mason), a sophomore defender, have been named Honorable Mention All-HCAC.

Freeman played in 16 games this past season, including 15 as a starter, recording 105 saves and four wins; along with allowing 27 goals for a 1.70 GAA. In addition, Freeman had three shutouts during the season. Money, a first-year player for the Lions, played in and started 18 games this fall, registering two goals during the season for four points.

The award was the first such for both Freeman and Money.
