Transylvania University scored once in the first half and twice in the second half on Wednesday evening at home, as they defeated the Lions, 3-0 in HCAC action. The Mount, 4-13-1 overall, 3-5 in the conference, concludes regular season play on Nov. 2 with a Senior Day game against HCAC-rival Earlham College (2-11-2, 1-6-1).

The Pioneers out-shot the Mount 16-2 in the game, and 10-0 in shots on goal as they claimed their 12th win of the season and sixth victory in the conference for 2013. Madison Freeman (Wilder, KY/Newport Central Catholic) made six saves in goal for the Lions.
