The Lions posted their third HCAC win of the season on Saturday afternoon with a 2-0 triumph over HCAC-rival Anderson University. The win has the Lions sitting in fifth place in the conference, with a good shot to make the HCAC Tournament. Madison Freeman (Wilder, KY/Newport Central Catholic) played all 90 minutes in goal for the Lions for her second shutout of the HCAC season.

Drama Keyer (Cleves, OH/Taylor) got the Lions on the board in the first half. Keyer scored 34:28 into the first half after coming on as a substitute less than 10 minutes prior to that. The Lions took their one goal lead into halftime, before opening the up the margain to two goals, only 2:14 into the second half. Victoria Heflin (Hamilton, OH/Hamilton-Badin) scored her team-leading fifth goal of the season. The Mount outshot Anderson by a 10-3 margain, including eight shots on goal to two for the Ravens.

The Lions (4-10-1, 3-2 HCAC) will return to action when they face HCAC-foe Hanover College on Tuesday, October 22. The game will be played at 7 pm on the Mount's Schueler Field.
