Sunday, October 28, 2012 HCAC-leader Earlham College scored a goal in the sixth minute of the game, and led by a 2-0 score at the half today, en route to a 4-0 home win over the Mount. The Lions, 2-14-1 overall, 2-5-1 in the conference, were awaiting word whether they were going to make up their Oct. 2 postponed game versus Bluffton University. Earlham won its 11th game of the season, and improved to 7-1-1 in the HCAC, as they out-shot the Lions, 17-4 in the game, including 14-3 in shots on goal. Shelbi Benzinger (Covington, KY/Scott) had 10 saves for the Mount. Earlham also had a 9-1 advantage in corner kicks.
