Mount women's soccer team falls at Manchester College, 2-0

Host Manchester University got a goal in each half, and held the Lions off the scoreboard today, as they posted a 2-0 win in HCAC action. The Mount, 0-12-1 overall, 0-3-1 in the conference, returns to action on Oct. 17 when they return to HCAC play at Hanover College.

The Spartans scored goals in the 13th and 56th minutes of action, as they improved to 6-5-3 on the season (2-2-1 HCAC). Five of the Lions' six shots in the game were on goal, while both teams had four corner kicks. Madison Freeman (Wilder, KY/Newport Central Catholic) had 10 saves in goal for the Mount.
