Lion's Wrestling swept at Campbellsville University Duals

The College of Mount St. Joseph wrestling team lost three matches on Saturday at the Campbellsville University Duals. In the first match of the day the Lions were defeated 54-0 by Notre Dame College. They followed that up with a 39-12 loss vs. Tiffin University, and finished the day with a 45-6 defeat at the hands of the host Campbellsville University. 

Two wrestlers led the Lions with 2-1 records on the day. Wayne Black (Indianapolis, IN/Pike) and Tyler Ray (West Chester, OH/Lakota East) both recorded win against their opponents from Campbellsville and Tiffin for a winning day overall. Sean Brooks (Englewood, OH/Northmont) was the only other Lion to record a win by defeating his opponent from Tiffin.

The Lions travel to Ohio Northern University on Tuesday for a match against the Polar Bears, and will return to Ohio Northern on Saturday for a tournament.
