Lions' wrestling loses dual match at Heidelberg University

The College of Mount St. Joseph wrestling team traveled to Tiffin, Ohio to face the Student Princes of Heidelberg University for a dual match on Tuesday.

The Lions lost by a score of 40-3. The Lions did not have wrestlers in the 125 and 133 pound wieght classes and were forced to forfeit in those divisions. In the 141, 149, 157, 165, and 174 pound weight classes, Lions' wrestlers were defeated by Heidelberg wrestlers. In the 184 pound weight class Tyler Ray (West Chester, OH/Lakota East) won his match, 5-4. The Lions also lost in the 197 pound class and in the heavyweight class, despite a strong effort from Sean Brooks (Englewood, OH/Northmont). 

The Lions return to action on Saturday, Nov. 23 at Campbellsville University Duals in Campbellsville, Kentucky.
