On Saturday, Novemeber 16th, the Lions wrestling team competed at the 21st annual Ashland University Open. The event included such teams as Purdue University, the University of Michigan, and Duke University. No team score was recorded for the event, but may Lions participated.

 Nathan Karwoski (Carmel, IN/Carmel) placed fifth in the 184 pound weight class, competing against wrestler's from Michigan State University, Campbellsville, and University of Indianapolis. The Lions return to the mat at the Ohio Northern University on December 1st in Ada, Ohio.
