Sunday, November 11, 2012 The College of Mount St. Joseph wrestling team returned to the mats on Nov. 10 when they traveled to Washington, PA for the Washington & Jefferson Open. Sixteen schools competed in the tournament. The Lions had two wrestlers win second place in their weight division, 133-pounder Will Bryant (Lexington, KY/Lafayette Senior) and 141-pounder Luis Godines (Cincinnati, OH/Madeira). Both turned in 4-1 records while teammate Wayne Black (Indianapolis, IN/Pike), also at 141, had a 4-1 mark and placed third. Tommy Fehring (Amelia, OH/Glen Este), at 157-pounds; Tyler Ray (Middletown, OH/Lakota East) at 184-pounds; and Iain Buckler (Eaton, OH/Eaton), wrestling in the 285-pound division, all came in fourth place. The Mount is back in action on Nov. 13 when they wrestle a dual match at Heidelberg University in Tiffin, OH.
