Mike O’Hara returns for his third season as head coach for the Mount’s women’s lacrosse team for the 2013-2013 school year. He directed the Lions to their first-ever conference playoff appearance (Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference) in the spring of 2012. The Lions finished with their first-ever .500 or better record last spring, when they registered a 7-6 overall mark, including 4-4 in the MWLC.
Prior to coming to the Mount, O'Hara was at Mother of Mercy High School in Cincinnati, Ohio as the team’s varsity lacrosse head coach (2008-2010). While at Mercy, O’Hara was in charge of developing a long-term goal for the lacrosse program, assisted in the college recruiting process for players, and prepared and executed a yearly budget for his sport, among other duties.
O’Hara is employed by RPC Mechanical/Thomas J. Dyer Co. in Cincinnati as a Project Manager/Account’s Manager. Coach O’Hara attended Eastern Kentucky University.
Coach O’Hara and his family reside in Cincinnati. His daughter Chrissy, a senior this fall, is a member of the Lions’ lacrosse team.
