Samantha Hughes (Cincinnati, OH/Colerain) scored five goals, setting the Lions' single-season individual mark in the process, and the Mount scored the game's first five goals on Sunday, en route to their fourth straight win, a 18-3 decision over Loras College. The Mount, 6-4 overall, 4-2 in the MWLC, returns to action on April 5 when they host conference-foe Concordia (WI) University.

Chrissy O'Hara (Cincinnati, OH/Mercy) got the scoring started for the Lions just 38 seconds into the game, and by the 23:54 mark of the first half, five different Mount players had tallied goals. Holding a 6-2 advantage, the Lions posted 11 straight goals, including four by Hughes, to race out to a 17-2 lead. The Mount held a 13-2 lead at the half.

Hughes finished with five goals, giving her 45 on the season, to set a new Mount single-season mark. The old record was set in the 2011 season when Amanda Holmes totaled 43 goals. O'Hara finished the game with three goals and two assists while teammates Erica Walsh (Louisville, KY/Sacred Heart), 4; and Nicole Sifri (Cincinnati, OH/McAuley), 3, combined for seven goals. Bristyl Webb (Oxford, OH/Talawanda) made four saves, gaining her second win of the season in goal.

The Lions held a 39-12 advantage in shots, including 34-7 in shots on goal.
