Three Mount women's lacrosse players have been selected to the 2013 All-Midwest Women's Lacrosse Second team. They are senior goalkeeper Paige Apel (Cincinnati, OH/Seton), junior attacker Chrissy O'Hara (Cincinnati, OH/Mercy), and freshman midfielder Erica Walsh (Louisville, KY/Sacred Heart).

Apel has played in and started all 12 games for the Mount this season, recording six wins and 139 saves, while allowing 124 goals (10.91 GAA) in nearly 682 minutes of action. O'Hara leads the Lions in goals (34), assists (13), and points (47), has 18 ground balls and three, game-winning goals. Walsh has started 11 of 12 games played, and has registered 16 goals and three assists, for 19 points, while picking up 17 ground balls. She has two-game winning goals this spring.

This is the third straight season that O'Hara has been named Second Team All-MWLC; while Apel was a Second Team selection her sophomore season. Walsh was selected for her first such conference award.
