NCAA Division II Notre Dame College scored the game's first 12 goals, including 10 in the first half en route to a 17-4 win on Monday night at the Mount. The Lions, 1-1 on the season, will resume action on March 19 at Wilmington College.

Erica Walsh (Louisville, KY/Sacred Heart) and Erica Lee (Cincinnati, OH/Mercy) scored back-to-back goals in the second half for the Mount, cutting the deficit to 12-2. while Chrissy O'Hara (Cincinnati, OH/Mercy) tallied two goals on the night for the Lions. O'Hara also recorded an assist in the game, and now has eight goals and two assists in the Mount's first two games this season. 

Paige Apel (Cincinnati, OH/Seton) started in goal for the Mount and recorded five saves, while Jacqui Tackett (West Chester, OH/Lakota East) posted three saves. Notre Dame College held a 30-8 advantage in shots.
