Mount women's golf eighth at Wooster Invitational

The Lions traveled to Wooster, Ohio to compete in the Wooster Invitational September 21st and 22nd. The Mount placed eighth out of twelve teams at the meet. Baldwin Wallace (705), Wooster (718), and the University of Charleston (719) were the top three. The Lions finished the weekend with a score of 785, +209.

Jennifer Trame (Milford, OH/Milford) led the Lions by shooting a 91 followed by an 87 at the Wooster Country Club. Her score of 178 was good enough for a tie for eighth place at +34 over the two day event. Finishing second for the Lions was Jennifer Vogel (Cincinnati, OH/Seton) who ended the event with a 193 (96-97). The other two team participants for the Lions were Christen Reidl (Liberty Township, OH/Lakota West) and Ellen Goins (West Harrison, IN/Franklin County) who finished with a 199 and 215 respectively.

The Lions return to action when they travel to Greencastle, Indiana to participate in the Depauw University Invitational. The two day event will take place September 28th and 29th.
