Mount women's cross country team travels to Wilmington College for meet

The College of Mount St. Joseph cross country team competed at the Jenna Strong Fall Classic in Wilmington, Ohio on Friday. The Lions did not have a team score, as four runners compete. The events winners were Toledo, and Rachel Prutzman of Roberts Wesleyan, who won in a time of 18:24.24.

Leading the way over the 5,00 meter course for the Lions was Emily Wolhfrom (Cincinnati, OH/Oak Hills). She finished the course in a time of 23:18.42, good for a 326th place finish. Following Wolhfrom for the Lions was Jacqui Tackett (West Chester, OH/Lakota East), with a 361st place finish. Tackett ran the five kilometers in a time of 24:55.80.

This event was the final tuneup before the Lions head to Defiance, Ohio to compete in the HCAC Championships.
