Lions' women's cross country team competes in the All-Ohio Championships

The College Of Mount St. Joseph cross country squad competed at the All-Ohio Championships on Friday. The Lions finished 41st overall in the meet held at Cedarville University, 21st amond Division III schools. The meet champion was University of Dayton, followed Malone University and Bowling Green State University.

Kelleen Scott (Newark, OH/Newark Catholic) led the way for the Lions. Scott's time of 30:05.82 on the six-kilometer course was good enough for a 252nd place finish. Behind Scott was Emily Wohlfrom (Cincinnati, OH/Oak Hills) and Jacqui Tackett (West Chester, OH/Lakota East) in 262nd and 263rd places, respectively. Wohlfrom finished in 31:49.75, just ahead of Tackett in 31:52.07.

The Lions will travel to Orlando, Florida next weekend to compete in the Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic.
