Lions' women's cross country team kicks off 2013 campaign at the Sodexo Grizzly Invitational

The College of Mount St. Joseph cross country season started today at the Sodexo Grizzly Invtational, hosted by Franklin College. The team standings were led by host Frankllin College. The Mount, which had only three runners, did not receive a team score/placing.

The Lions were paced by Kelleen Scott (Newark, OH/Newark), who as 38th individually with a time of 24:50 over the 5K course. Emily Wohlfrom (Cincinnati, OH/Oak Hills) was 48th while teammate Emily Heyl (Cincinnati, OH/Seton) came in 50th place.

The Mount is back in action on Sept. 7 at the Hanover College Invitational.
