Mount Women's Cross Country in Action at 32nd Annual All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championship

The Mount St. Joseph Cross Country team traveled to Cedarville, Ohio to compete in the All-Ohio Championships. The Lions had four runners participate in the 5K race. 

Freshman Amanda Shelby (West Chester, OH/Lakota West) led the Lions by finishing 23rd in the Division III standings with a time of 19:11, and 56th overall out of 298 runners over all divisions. The Lions second fastest finisher was Cyreesa Raber (West Chester, OH/Lakota East) who finished in a time of 23:49.

Shelby's time of 19:11 set a new school record for Mount women's cross country. Shelby beat her own record by a time of 24 seconds which she achieved at the Hanover College Invitational.
