Office of Sports Information

This office oversees athletic relations and issues official information and press releases regarding the Lions' teams, athletes; and coaches.

Members of the media should contact the Office of Sports Information for the latest news and information or to reach coaches and players.

Scores, statistics and wrapups are posted immediately after each event.

Dane Neumeister
Director of Sports Information

Dane Neumeister begins his 15th season as the Sports Information Director at the Mount for the 2014-2015 school year. He is in charge of all functions related to Sports Information at the Mount, including game-day operations, statistical reporting, athletic publications and athletic web site content and management. He has also been a member of the Mount's Athletic Committee from 2006-2010, and is currently on the school's Hall of Fame committee. In addition, Neumeister, a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), has also been a member of the COSIDA Academic All-American Committee.

As the host Sports Information Director, he directed the game-day operations and publicity of the 2000 and 2001 NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Volleyball Tournaments, as well as the 2000 NCAA Division III Volleyball Quarterfinal at the College. He has also been in charge of transitioning and adding to a new Mount athletic web site three times during his tenure, including the launch of the College's existing athletic's web site,

Neumeister is a 1992 graduate of Northern Kentucky University, where he gained a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Journalism.

He enjoys most all sports, has coached youth baseball, softball and basketball, and likes to read as a hobby, and travel. He also likes to collect baseball books and cards; and enjoys riding ATV and Watercraft vehicles.

Dane, and his his wife, Lisa, have two children, Alexander and Ashley, and they reside in Anderson Township.

Luke Schafer
Sports Information Department Co-op

Luke Schafer begins his first year in the Mount's Sports Information Department Office as a student co-op for the 2014-2015 school year. He is in his third year at The Mount, majoring in Sport Management, with a minor in Business Administration. Schafer is currently employed with the Cincinnati Reds as a retail vendor and worked last year as an interm with the Warren County Convention and Visitor's Bureau. The Elder High School graduate resides in Cleves, Ohio with his family. Schafer enjoys going to Reds and Bengals games.
