Lions compete in HCAC championship meet

On October 28, 2017, 7 men traveled to Manchester University for the 2017 HCAC Conference Championships at Manchester University. Despite the weather being cold for most of the day, it warmed up right at race time and the Lions took advantage.

Leading the way for the Lions was freshman, Luke Danis (Yellowsprings, OH/Carrol) with a time of 30:17.52. Juniors, Josh King (Danville, IL / Danville) and Chad Mason (Addyston, OH / Taylor) followed closely behind with times of 30:49.52 and 31:01.52.  Rounding out the top five for the lions were Freshmen Matthew Brunner (Dillsboro, IN / South Dearborn) and Benjamin Gray (Napolean, OH / Pettisville) with times of 31:22.52 and 31:36.43.

Despite being projected to finish last, the men's team was able to finish eighth overall and continue their excellent season. The men ran another consistent team race with everyone finishing within nearly a minute of each other. The men will race on Saturday, October 11 at Ohio Wesleyan University for the 2017 Great Lakes Regional
