CINCINNATI, Ohio-- The Mount St. Joseph men' golf team played host to 14 golf teams this past weekend at Aston Oaks Golf Club. The tournament was a two day, two round affair.
On the team front it would be Transylvania University who would carry the day. They would defeat second place team Otterbein by two strokes. The Mount St. Joseph Lions would finish in the middle of the pack in the team portion of the tournament, finishing 7th out of the 14 teams.
Individually Transylvania would also take the top spot. For the Lions the top performers were Andrew Booth (Canton, OH/ Canton Central Catholic) and Kevin Imhulse (Wilmington, OH/ Wilmington) who each finished tied for 28th, with 168 total strokes.
The Lions will take to the course again next weekend at the Rose-Hulman Invitational tournament.
