Lions roll past Pitt.-Bradford 77-61

THE BASICS
Mount St. Joseph University (5-5) defeated the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford (2-8) 77-61. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Mount came to play today, starting the game out with a made three-pointer from Tyler Manaugh. This set the tone for the rest of the half. The Lions maintained a steady lead going into the 11:28 mark of the half where its lead was at two. The Lions went on a 16-0 run out of a timeout, grabbing its largest lead of the game. 

At the end of the half, the Lions led the Panthers 47-32, making seven three-pointers in the half. 

The Mount kept the momentum up in the second half, finishing the game out strong and outshooting the Panthers in all three categories. The Lions held Pitt.-Bradford to 3 of 16 from beyond the arc, compared to 12-25 for the Lions. 

STANDOUTS
Senior shooting guard Joel Scudder once again led the team in points, finishing the day with 20 points and seven rebounds. Scudder went 4-7 from three point range. Erik Edwards had a double-double, with 11 points and 10 assists. Jake Cropper had a big game off the bench, scoring 13 points for the Lions. Both Scudder and Edwards made the All-Tournament Team.
