CINCINNATI, Ohio--This past weekend the Mount St. Joseph University football team had a record-breaking game at Anderson University. The team set records for points in a game (71), total yards in a game (709), and passing yards in a game (500).
Quarterback Chaiten Tomlin put together the best day a quarterback has ever had in the Blue and Gold of Mount St. Joseph. He Completed 27 of 48 pass attempts for 500 yards and an NCAA Division III record-tying nine touchdown passes. For that performance, Tomlin has been nominated as Hero Sports Division III national player of the week.
