Mount St. Joseph cheerleading honors seniors

The Mount St. Joseph cheerleading squad took to the court at halftime of the final men's basketball home game of the season to honor a trio of seniors.

Abby Bush was escorted on to the floor by her mom Kim and her dad Tom. Abby has cheered for her entire four year career here at the Mount, while majoring in Inclusive Early Childhood Education. After graduation Abby plans to get a job teaching elementary school. She hopes to return to the Mount to get a masters degree in reading science, helping her to tutor children who suffer from dyslexia, a disease she too deals with.

Megan Geraci was joined on the floor by her parents Chris and Cheri Geraci. Maegan has also cheered for four years here at the Mount, while majoring in Biology. After graduation Maegan plans to apply for the Magelin program here at the Mount and work in clinical research at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

Sara was escorted on the floor by her parents Mike and Jill and her sister Grace. Sara has cheered for three years at The Mount while majoring in Nursing. After graduation Sara plans to become a labor and delivery nurse and eventually return to school to get a masters in nurse midwifery.

Coach Nancy Forsythe had this to say about her seniors, "The struggles you faced, the chances you took, all the work you did, your college days are now behind you. Look back with a smile and go forward with courage. Be happy, be safe, and be kind. I will forever be your coach."
