1/22/2012 - MEN'S VOLLEYBALL Mount men's volleyball team goes 1-3 in weekend Charlie Wrublewski Tournament

The Lions competed in the Third Annual Charlie Wrublewski Tournament this past weekend in the Harrington Center, claiming their first win of the 2011 season and finishing with a 1-3 mark. On Saturday the Mount fell by a 3-0 set score to Missouri Valley College, and then defeated Penn State Behrend, 3-1. On Sunday the Lions dropped matches to King College, 3-1, and Sienna Heights University, 3-1.

The Mount, 1-4 overall on the season, in back in action on Feb. 3/4 when they play in the Thiel College Tournament.

During the weekend Charlie Wrublewski Tournament, Brad Miller (Convoy, OH/Crestview) had 34 kills and 44 digs for the Mount while Nick Jennings (Indianapolis, IN/Roncalli) chipped in 95 assists, 10 blocks and four service aces. Luke Eschenbach (Cincinnati, OH/LaSalle) chipped in 30 kills while Josh Fisher (Farifield, OH/Fairfield) recorded 13 blocks.
