Men's Track Places Seventh at Rose-Hulman Friday Night Invite

The College of Mount St. Joseph men's track team traveled to Terre Haute, Indiana to compete in the Rose-Hulman Friday Night Invite this weekend. The Lions placed seventh earning three points on the day. The host, Rose-Hulman, was crowned champion with 231 points. 

The Lions 4x400 relay earned the team its three points with a tenth place finish. Casey Bell (Odon, IN/North Daviess Jr-Sr.) placed 12th for the Lions in the weight throw with a throw of 11.22 meters. Sam Barth (Fort Thomas, KY/Newport Central Catholic) had a strong showing in the 800 meter race with a 13th place finish. Barth finished the race in a time of 2:08.42.

The Lions will return to action February 1st when they return to Terre Haute to compete in the Rose-Hulman Invitational.
