The Lions travled to Cedarville, Ohio for the Cedarville University All Comers meet on Saturday. The Lions finished in 10th place, recording 28 points. The meet champions were the Dragons of Tiffin University with 158.5 points, followed by host Cedarville, with 135 points, and Wilmington in third place with 117 points.

The Lions were very stong in the discus throw during the meet, splitting nine points between two athletes. In fourth place was Gabe Stiver (Cincinnati, OH/Moeller) with a throw of 40.54 meters, good enough to earn five points. In fifth place was another Lions' athlete, Sean Brooks (Englewood, OH/Northmont), who had a season-long throw of 40.34 meters, en route to earning the Mount four more points.

Micquelle Burton (Cincinnati, OH/Deer Park) continued his stand out preformances in the 200 meters with another first place finish. Burton covered the 200 meters in a time of 22.00, out-pacing the next closest competitor by 0.2 seconds. Casey Gilmour (Dillsboro, IN/South Dearborn) had his best finish this year in the 110-meter hurdles. Gilmour covered the 110 meters in 18.15 seconds, earning the Lions two more points. Casey also ran in the 400 meter hurdles, where he finished in fifth place in a time of 1:05.53. His fifth place finish was also his highest of the year.

The Lions' hard work comes to a culmination next week with the HCAC Championship meet. The Lions travel to North Manchester, Indiana next week to compete against the rest of the conference schools.
