The Lions split the squad today, and traveled to two different meets. Some of the Lions traveled to Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio to compete in the All-Ohio Championships.  The rest of the Lions traveled to Anderson, Indiana to compete in the Raven Invitational, which was a non-scoring meet.

At the Raven Invitational the Lions had 2 athletes place in the top 10. Gabe Stiver (Cincinnati, OH/Moeller) placed second in the shot put with a throw of 13.21 meters on the first throw of his day. Stiver also placed eighth in the weight throw with a throw of 10.40 meters. He placed behind his teammate Casey Bell (Odon, IN/North Daviess Jr-Sr) who placed fifth in the weight throw with a throw of 11.46 meters.

The Lions will return to action next week in Defiance, OH at the HCAC Championships.
