Mount men's tennis team suffers 9-0 setback at Capital University

The Lions' men's tennis team saw their 2014 spring record evened at 1-1 on Wednesday afternoon after a 9-0 loss at Capital University. The Mount will return to the courts on Mar. 22 when they host HCAC-foe Franklin College in the conference opener of the season.

Ian Rowe (Winchester, KY/George Rogers Clark) played well at third singles for the Mount against Capital, despite losing in straight sets. Rowe claimed four games in his 6-0, 6-4 setback. He also won two games in an 8-2 loss at first singles with teammate William Knoll (Cincinnati, OH/Turpin). Kyle Haas (Jasper, IN/Northeast Dubois) won one game at second singles and one game at second doubles, with Dustin Lewis (Union, OH/Northmont).
