Lions' men's tennis team drops match vs. first place Earlham College

Conference leader Earlham College rolled into Dayton Center Courts in Dayton, Ohio on Wednesday afternoon, and registered a 9-0 win against the Mount. The Lions, 3-7 overall, will look to record their first HCAC win of the season on April 19 when they play at Bluffton University. The Mount is 0-5 in the conference this season.

Tyler Esham (New Richmond, OH/New Richmond) was the most successful player against the Quakers, despite falling in straight sets. Esham lost his fifth singles match, 6-2, 6-2. First singles players Clayton Steinriede (Cincinnati, OH/St. Xavier) won three games in his match, falling 6-0, 6-3. Earlham College, ranked 10th in the region, improved to 14-2 overall, 6-0 in the HCAC.
