Monday, October 01, 2012 The College of Mount St. Joseph men's tennis team won two of three doubles matches on Sunday, but were hampered by only having four active players for action as they fell in a dual match at home to Miami University Hamilton, 5-4. The Mount is 1-2 for the fall season. Clayton Steinriede (Cincinnati, OH/St. Xavier) claimed a win at first singles and teammed with Colin Barrett to post an 8-6 victory at first doubles. Chris Hemmingsen (Columbus, OH/Ohio Virtual Academy) had a straight sets win at fourth singles, while the Mount's number two doubles team of Tyler Esham (New Richmond, OH/New Richmond) and Max Withrow (Ft. Mitchell, KY/Beechwood) won, 8-0.
