HCAC Men's Tennis Preseason Poll released

The 2012 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Coaches Preseason Poll has been released and the College of Mount St. Joseph has been picked by the HCAC coaches to finish seventh in the conference standings this spring.

Earlham was the unaninous number one selection, receiving all 10 coaches votes for the top spot. They were followed in the poll by Transylvania, Rose-Hulman, Hanover and Anderson. Franklin, the Mount and Manchester held down the next three spots while Defiance and Bluffton round out the poll.

 The 2012 men’s tennis season is set to begin on February 2.

Mount men's tennis players selected as "Players to Watch": Colin Barrett (Cincinnati, OH/Mariemont), junior; Sandy Berry (Cincinnati, OH/Sycamore), senior; Clayton Steinriede (Cincinnati, OH/St. Xavier), junior; and Kyle Smith (Cincinnati, OH/Elder), senior.
