Host Transylvania University scored three first half goals on Tuesday night as they defeated the College of Mount St. Joseph, 4-1, in HCAC action. The Mount, 3-15 overall, 2-6 in the conference, will conclude 2013 season play on Nov. 2 when they host Senior Day against HCAC-foe Earlham College (9-8, 5-2 HCAC).

The Lions broke through on the scoreboard in the game's 51st minute when Bryson Lewis (Blanchester, OH/Blanchester) tallied an unassisted goal, his first of the season. The Pioneers, 11-4-2 overall, 5-2-1 in the HCAC, scored the game's final goal at 70:25 for a three-goal advantage. Transy out-shot the Mount, 16-2 in the game, including 8-1 in shots on goal.
