HCAC-rival Manchester Univeristy jumped out to a 1-0 lead at the half, and added two, second half goals as they recorded a 3-1 win over the Mount on Saturday afternoon at Schueler Field. The Lions, 3-14 overall, 2-5 in the conference, resume action on Oct. 29 with an HCAC game at Transylvania University (10-4-2, 4-2-1 HCAC).

Facing a 3-0 deficit, the Lions got on the scoreboard in the game's 84th minute, when Christopher Earls (Cincinnati, OH/Colerain) netted his first goal of the season off a pass from Bryson Lewis (Blanchester, OH/Blanchester). The Lions got three more shots on goal down the stretch, but would not get any closer than the two-goal setback. The Mount held a 15-10 advantage in shots, however both teams had five shots on goal in the game. Each team also had five corner kicks.
